About creating art

I’ve spent most of my life being compelled to create a visual images. That compulsion to create is just always on my mind.

Drawings. Paintings. Searching. Experimenting. Discovering.

There are so many beautiful things that surround us. And so much to notice about the human spirit. For me, that creative compulsion involves showing ideas such as an emotion or state of mind. My goal is to express these ideas and concepts through with a visual language inspired by our culture and environment.

Questions about certain ideas run through my mind. How does peace look? What does hope feel like? What does being at home feel like? What do all of those things look like?

Everyday I explore more about these ideas and how interconnected we all are.
